Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th in 1961) is an American actress. Angela Evelyn is an American actress. Bassett originates originally from New York New York. She was born in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett along with her sister who were about five years old, moved from New York to St. Petersburg to live with their mother, who was the divorced father. Bassett was in high school and watched John Steinbeck's stage play Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she decided to become an actress. Yale University New Haven Connecticut gave her a bachelor's degree (1980) which was in African American study, and a graduate degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. The couple got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Bachelor of Arts (Afro-American Studies) in the year 1980. An M.A. in Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett is currently working on one of the leading roles in the film Ramonda in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
